Lia Smith, Registered Aesthetician is a Medical Aesthetician Certified by Advanced Medical Aesthetics Institute, La Roche-Posey Laboratoire Pharmaceutique and American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics. She was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil where she was working as a journalist for the governmental department.
Her background extended from Laboratory Technician to University of Psychology and Social Communication. Holding an International Press Card she fled to the USA seeking for better job in Communication, but with her broken English it was hard to find job.

It is important that whom ever you choose to help you look and feel your best be Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. There are many other boards not recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties that try to fool the public into thinking that their members are board certified plastic surgeons.
If your surgeon is not listed on www.plasticsurgery.org, he/she has not undergone the many years of training and certification exams necessary to be considered a true board certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Steely is the medical director of Acqua Natura Microspa & Studio.
